Overview

Rojak & Cendol Permaisuri, tucked away in Bandar Sri Permaisuri, Kuala Lumpur, is a vibrant spot for lovers of traditional Malaysian street fare. This humble roadside food truck brings to life the rich flavors of classic cendol and rojak, two beloved local delicacies that resonate deeply with both locals and adventurous food lovers.

The star attractions here are undeniably the Rojak Mamak Pasembur and the Rojak Mee Sotong. The rojak boasts a fresh medley of crunchy vegetables, soft tofu, and perfectly fried elements that are neither too oily nor overdone. The sauce deserves special mention — thick, slightly chunky, and enlivened with a subtle spicy kick, it clings lovingly to every morsel, making every bite a satisfying mix of textures and flavors. This rojak feels homey yet distinct, offering a top-tier street dining experience that ranks among the best in the Klang Valley.

But a visit to Permaisuri would be incomplete without sampling their cendol. Whether you opt for the classic Cendol Kosong, with its refreshing pandan jelly soaked in rich coconut milk and palm sugar syrup, or choose a version enhanced with sweet corn or red beans, the balance of sweetness and creaminess is spot-on. Customers praise the dessert’s finely shaved ice and ample toppings, which avoid the usual icy blandness, making each spoonful a cooling, satisfying treat on a hot Malaysian day.

The venue operates from a food truck parked by the roadside, a detail that shapes the overall experience — expect limited seating and a lively street ambiance rather than a formal dining environment. While this might deter some seeking a polished setting, it perfectly suits those who appreciate authentic, no-frills local flavors in a bustling, unpretentious atmosphere.

Given its location in a dense, vibrant neighborhood and the attention to quality and freshness in both rojak and cendol, Rojak & Cendol Permaisuri targets local workers, residents, and foodies who crave genuine Malaysian street snacks without venturing far from home. The balance of affordability and taste makes it a compelling choice for a quick, flavorful stopover.

In sum, Rojak & Cendol Permaisuri delivers a charmingly authentic street food experience. It's a place where simple ingredients combine artfully, proving that some of the best meals come from the humblest setups. Whether you’re drawn by the tantalizing peanut sauce of the rojak or the luscious, refreshing layers of the cendol, this spot in Bandar Sri Permaisuri promises a fulfilling taste of Malaysia’s culinary heritage.

Food truck parking at roadside. Normal cendol at RM3 per bowl. Contain cendol, ice, hula melaka, red kidney bean, sweet corn and cincau. Acceptable taste. Rojak is available too but didn't try. Will return to eat next round. Too thirsty at time of serving, hence no photo taken.

I have tasted a few so called best rojak around Klang Valley and this one can be in the top 3 and it's close to my home. The peanut sauce was thick and slightly chunky and spicy. Plenty of veg. Those fried stuff were not overfried or hard. Just delicious! I can eat this everyday if not for controlling my cholesterol level. Tried the rojak many times but yet to try the cendol bcoz street parking always full...even parking illegally.

Easily one of the best street rojak cendol. Rojak fresh tak rasa kering macam kebanyakan, mee rasa sedap and sotong also sedap and banyak guys. For sure will repeat!

Never tried their rojak but their cendol is really good. I'd say if you are looking to spend lightly with just a bowl of cendol then this place is the right one. Although, the cleanliness is a case of concern. Just by the roadside. At least that's how it is for the street and pavement around where it is parked. Not many tables for you to dine in as well.
